- It’s been a while since I’ve updated everyone as its been a busy few months! We’ve been on tour across the UK and had our first venture with this current line-up over to Holland for a small 6 date tour which went so well that we will be going back in January for a few festival/club dates. Many thanks to Suzanne and Hananja at HS-Agency and to Jos for the hospitality, love and support! Also, thrilled to have been voted ‘Best Newcomer’ by ‘Blues Matters’ magazine. Thankyou to all of you for the support and special thanks to Alan King for his kind words and understanding recently. I will finally heading into the studio to record my debut full length album in just a few weeks which is scheduled for release in March 2012 to coincide with a UK tour and Europe tour. Also, watch this space for a limited run of a live album which was recorded by the fantastic guys at Blues Moose Radio in Holland. Speak soon!

- Hello all! Well, it’s that time again – we’re  out on the road doing our second big UK tour, organised by ‘BPA Agency’…with a new line-up which features the awesome Barry Pethers on bass guitar, and unleashing some new songs. I look forward to seeing a few familiar faces as well as some new ones, and having some big laughs with everybody! Check out ‘Gigs’ page for dates.

I’m very happy to be joining ‘HS-Agency’, a Dutch booking agency who also book for the awesome German Blues/Rock artist Henrik Freischlader, and my band will be heading off for our first venture into Holland in October (see ‘Gigs’ page for these Dutch dates). A bigger European tour of Holland, Germany, Belgium and Luxembourg as well as possibly Switzerland and Austria is being planned for Spring next year to coincide with a new CD release.

- BRITISH BLUES AWARDS! I’m extremely surprised and very grateful to have been nominated in three categories of the British Blues Awards this year. Nominated in ‘Best Young Artist’ category, ‘Best Original Song’ for my song “Everything I Want” (the title track of our debut mini-album/EP)…plus my awesome drummer ‘Alan Taylor’ has been nominated in the ‘Best British Drummer’ category. - Many thanks to everyone that came out to support us on our first big headlining UK tour! We really appreciate each and every one of you for coming out and supporting live music. Our UK agency is already making plans for another UK tour in September returning to our favourite venues, hopefully followed by a venture over to Europe! Next up…Festival Season! We fly out to Lindos, Greece for a  bunch of shows at the ‘Rhodes Rock Festival’ (4th-15th June), back in time to play ‘Linton Festival’ on Saturday 18th June alongside such great names as Walter Trout, Aynsley Lister, Erja Lyttinen, Wishbone Ash, Bernie Marsden and our old friends The Hamsters! Then a few days off before we play Glastonbury on Thursday 23rd and Friday 24th June! Then it’s more festivals throughout July, including several appearances at Maryport Blues Festival, Colne Blues Festival and Birmingham International Jazz & Blues Festival, as well as festivals in Reading, Brighton, Bentworth and Milton Keynes….more TBC. - ON TOUR NOW! Ben Poole and the boys are just beginning their first headlining tour of the UK. They play Leighton Buzzard, Swindon, Nottingham, Barnsley, Glasgow, Kinross, Chester, Reading, London, Falmouth and Bude during March. Come out to a show near you and catch them while you can!
